#20: Lifeforce (1985)
An adaptation of The Space Vampires circa 1976, Lifeforce became yet another sci-fi cult classic. Fans can’t help but love the crew of the Churchill who discover a spaceship full of bat-like creatures and humanoids. If you haven’t guessed, the crew accidentally found vampires in space. In spite of its fan popularity, the film didn’t even make back half of its bloated (for 1985) budget.
