To no one’s surprise, this David Bowie film is also a cult classic. In The Man Who Fell to Earth, Bowie plays Thomas Jerome Newton who comes to Earth in search of water to send back to his home planet. Despite its minor box office success, the story of Thomas’ time on earth was fascinating enough that it was made into a TV movie and was even brought back in 2022 as a TV series.
