There are some sci-fi films that emerged from the 1970s and 80s that we could never forget—Star Wars, anyone? Yet, for many other sci-fi flicks, the 70s and 80s are almost like the decades that time forgot. They were two eras of innovation and fascination with all things science fiction. Yet, many of these films have become obscure over the years. Let’s explore some of the most infamous or not-so-memorable among them.
#1: Saturn 3 (1980)
Even three heavy hitting stars like Farrah Fawcett, Harvey Keitel, and Kirk Douglas couldn’t save this 1980 British film. In the future, when scientists are dispersed to space stations across the galaxy, we meet Adam and Alex who are stationed on Saturn’s third moon (hence the film’s name). While there, they encounter a man named Benson who has just murdered another station captain and has traveled to the Saturn orbiting station with his robot named Hector.
