Grand Central Terminal launched its indoor holiday fair in 1993, and Vanderbilt Hall’s tall ceilings and polished stone made the space feel tailor-made for it. More than 30 vendors set up tables filled with handcrafted jewelry, artwork, and gifts, and commuters often slowed down just to look around.
