#8: Cain’s Hundred (1961-1962)

Cain’s Hundred was one of those gritty crime dramas from the early ‘60s that totally flew under the radar. It followed this former mob lawyer named Nick Cain who ditched the mob life after they killed his fiancée and made it his mission to take down 100 mobsters. Every episode was him hunting down a new bad guy and trying to clean up the mess he used to be part of. It had that slick, noir vibe and a solid lead, but it just didn’t catch fire like other crime shows at the time. Cool premise, decent execution, but it kinda vanished without much fanfare.
