These old-school intercoms were the height of technology back in the day. You always saw them at your rich friend’s house, and it seemed so cool to be able to “buzz” someone into the building. Kids who see this picture now would probably not understand what they’re looking at. It could be anything. It’s not something we often think about, but intercoms have really come a long way over the years.
