#5: Mug’s Up Drive-In (1956-Present, But Rare)
Mug’s Up is another drive-in restaurant serving root beer and their famous zipburgers. Like many drive-ins, most of its locations have closed, but some still stand as a fun blast from the past. In particular, the Mug’s in Independence, Missouri, which is where the restaurant was founded, was open. However, it does close if the weather isn’t nice, so check its Facebook page for updates. Some poor soul drove an hour when they closed due to inclement weather. I feel for this person.
