#14: Operation
Operation was released in 1959, and remains an iconic, although controversial, game to this day. In the game, you get to be a doctor and remove body parts from a patient named Cavity Sam, who is awake to experience it all. Okay, it’s more humorous, with you removing parts like the funny bone, a broken heart, a literal butterfly in the stomach, and more. But it’s intense.
You have to use the flimsiest tweezers to remove these plastic bits, and if you touch the edge, Cavity Sam’s nose lights up, and you hear a buzzer. It scared many generations of kids. Operation is still around and has many crossover games. You can operate on Shrek, Homer Simpson, R2-D2, Peter Griffin, and more. I operated on many characters, and I only participated in medical malpractice 20 times.
