Cocooned trees
Recently areas of Pakistan have suffered from mass flooding, causing devastation for people and animals alike. Aside from the recovering of submerged cars and family belongings, when the floodwaters rolled back the locals noticed something extraordinary had happened.
Because of the sheer scale of the flooding and how long it had taken for the floods to go down, spiders had sought refuge in the branches of trees. Hundreds of trees had become completely encased in spider webs, making them look like ghostly cotton candy. Maybe steer clear if you have arachnophobia.
