Fluffy plants
There are plants in some very strange places all around the world. Having adapted to thrive in their various environments, they do have the tendency to look fairly strange. The Raoulia plant is no exception. Found in and around the Alps, as well as in New Zealand they have very small white leaves.
Their nickname is “vegetable sheep,” so given because when a large number of the flowers cover the ground they look a little like sheep’s wool. Passersby can think that a sheep has collapsed or gotten lost, go to rescue it, and discover that it is actually a plant!
