Do you know how lifejackets haven’t been improved upon for several decades now? What’s up with that? You could say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” but as you already know, that’s not how an engineer works. “If it ain’t broke, take it apart and put it back together again. If you don’t know how, make something new.”
The logic behind this invention is that the air in the plastic bottles will help the wearer float to the surface. As for the fin, that’s just there for style. We’ve seen people construct a boat out of bags of potato chips before, so we have high hopes for this invention.
