#11: Remote Control (1987-1990)

Going way back to 1987, Remote Control was MTV’s first game show as well as its first non-musical show. The series ran for five seasons from 1987 to 1990, in which contestants had to answer TV trivia questions. It featured hosts like Ken Ober and Colin Quinn, who were later accompanied by other actors like Alicia Coppola, Adam Sandler, and Denis Leary.
