Sony and Columbia Pictures owned the rights to Brenda Song’s image and likeness for a time. However, while she was still with Disney Channel, her management signed another contract with Nickelodeon to utilize her name in advertising for their rival network. As a child actor, she played supporting roles in several movies and television series on various networks before rising to stardom.
Brenda has continued to appear in movies of all sizes, frequently taking on comedic and animated parts. She’s also done more serious drama roles and starred in a psychological thriller called Secret Obsession. Brenda gave birth to her first kid, Dakota, with Macaulay Culkin earlier this year.
