She’s Found Calm Amongst the Hollywood Chaos
Lisa Jakub is perhaps most well-known for her roles as Lydia in Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) and Alicia in Independence Day (1996). She spent the 1990s mainly acting in TV movies until she quit in 2001 at 22, having no intentions to return to Hollywood.
Lisa spends her days practicing yoga as a Kripalu instructor, focusing on assisting veterans in rediscovering their zen. She is also the founder and CEO of Blue Mala. In this for-profit mental health community, she offers her yoga and meditation experience to assist people in gaining confidence and feeling lighter in their daily lives.
