What Ever Happened to Our Favorite Child Stars?

April 6, 2019 by Michael Franklin

You Don’t Have to Miss Mischa

When Mischa Barton appears, it’s a Pavlovian response for us to scream the Phantom Planet song “California.” We acquired behavior from our O.C. days when watching Fox’s teen drama The O.C., but did you realize she was also part of 90s nostalgia? From 1996 to 2000, she provided the voice for Betty Ann Bongo on KaBlam! on Nickelodeon, which was a wild comedy show.

After the sun set on her O.C. days, she continued acting in movies and on stage. She was also part of a reboot of MTV’s The Hills, shown in 2003. Although her fame isn’t as bright as when she was Entertainment Weekly’s 2003 It Girl, we’re glad to see she’s still alive.
