Let’s face it: some movies get so much praise that pretending to love them becomes a bit exhausting. There are some films that usually dominate conversations, leaving many of us feeling like we must nod along, even if our hearts aren’t in it.

#1: Citizen Kane

Considered by many as the greatest film ever made, Citizen Kane (1941) has its share of detractors. Directed by Orson Welles, it dives deep into the life of Charles Foster Kane, a character who may not resonate with everyone. 

The storytelling is innovative, but for many viewers, it feels tedious. To be honest, some people don’t want to spend a Saturday night figuring out abstract metaphors.
