Poppy Delevingne and James Cook
On Friday 16 May 2014, British model and style star Poppy Delevingne married James Cook. In true Delevingne style, the couple celebrated their nuptials not once but twice. Their first glamorous wedding took place at London’s St Paul’s Church with a reception at Kensington Palace Gardens and was followed by a storybook, star-studded mystical affair in Morocco.
Poppy wore a custom-made white Chanel couture wedding dress and matching veil, which might look a bit familiar because Blake Lively wore a similar version of the gown from Chanel’s Spring 2009 collection in 2011. However, Poppy’s dress had a detachable skirt for the reception and after-party.

Fun Fact: Poppy might have set a record for the largest amount of bridesmaids and flower girls at one wedding – 17 in all! The star-studded guest list included Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell.

Kate’s dress was stolen from a princes in Italy. Diana’s dress looked like the last prom gown that no one would by I think it was designed by Camilla!!

Megan,s dress was very simple yes but not properly fitted especially around the waist. She should have spent more time with the alterations before the wedding Kate’s dress was beautiful and fit her to perfection. That shows more style and grace to me This was one day the dress should have been perfect. Megan’s mom was dressed perfectly so why did she not do the same The details make a huge difference to what the world sees

Faith is right here. Megan’s dress is indeed a masterpiece in its own right. We all naturally make comparisons and I too thought on first seeing that it was not I was expecting. The more you see the dress and the more you see the beauty of the person wearing to begin to see the union of dress and personality. Could anyone say they were not captivating by the bride on her special day. A wise, personal and ever so complementing choice.

A very good example of how your future wife will handle money…the amount of money she spends on something she is only going to use once!
Throw your stones if you must, but I’ve seen it happen too many times.
Men can rent their tuxedos and no one says a word, but for a woman to rent a wedding gown? That’s a major no-no! Why? (And don’t play that little game of ‘If I have a daughter, she can wear it when it’s time for her to get married. It rarely happens and it’s a poor excuse anyway!)

Ya’ll aren’t even showing half the correct dresses you are describing……seriously?

Megan’s wedding dress was the most classic and elegant dress of all time. It was indeed a “classic modern masterpiece”. It is timeless – the style of the dress can endure through all of the coming centuries. It is not the “frills, beads, and decorations on a garment” that makes it beautiful. Megan’s wedding dress was not the norm kind of a wedding dress – that it what makes it “timeless” both in style and elegance. What a MASTERPIECE. I believe that those who have made “negative” comments about Megan’s wedding dress are stuck in the “past” when it comes to style, difference, and innovation.

Megan looks wonderful. And Kim Kardashian.

My thoughts too: and please, the commentary isn’t necessary if it simply describes (at times inaccurately) what we can all see in the picture. A few more details about dress designers and fabrics wouldn’t go amiss. It might also have been amusing to note how long some of these marriages lasted – just for fun and added interest. As for including a picture of two people who are married – but not their wedding photo – what? A little bit more focus please on the point of the piece – the bride’s dress!

Kate’s and Diana’s were the most elegant and regal – Megan’s was too plain and expensive
Helen says
Kate’s followed by Diana were the most regal – Meghan was way too expensive for such a plain dress

Doesn’t anyone even try to edit the writing?

Megan dress was way too plain for the royal wedding-no fit, no volume, plain, plan, but the train was nice.
Kate and Diana’s wedding dresses are the best and no matter what they wear, they always look elegant and gracious.

Kate looked amazing at her wedding, dress for royalty, no matter what she wears, she always looks great and gracious, like princess Diana.

I didn’t like her dress, was too plain for a royal wedding but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The train was nice.
