Job Aspirations
It’s amazing how some people just can’t handle the thought of women having any sort of power or authority, even if it’s just in the context of a nursing career. Crazy idea time: women can be intelligent, competent, and successful without it being some sort of nefarious scheme to “control” men.
And just because nursing degrees may be “easier” to acquire doesn’t mean they’re any less valuable or important than other degrees. In fact, the world would be a much better place if more people could set aside their fragile egos and recognize the value of careers like nursing. Then, we could start making some progress toward gender equality.
