#42: Soft and Cozy
Every decade has a trend that should never, ever come back in style. For the 1960s and 1970s, that trend is definitely carpet in bathrooms. Wall-to-wall carpet was, for some reason, thought to be the pinnacle of style and class back in the day. Nowadays, the thought of carpet in the damp, steamy bathroom sounds gross to most of us. This bathroom designer evidently didn’t get the memo.

Not only does this bathroom have wall-to-wall carpet, it even has carpet climbing up the walls of the bathtub! Bathwater soaking up into decades-old carpet? No thank you. We can smell and mold and must from here. Let’s all choose to ignore the gross brown carpet stains that have accumulated over the years, shall we?
