#15: Class Valedictorian
Personally, I never understood people who felt compelled to compete with their classmates and prove they were the best students. Who cares who gets a better score on a high school English exam? These things seem to matter when you’re in high cool, but when you grow up and get a job, you realize your high school grades have no effect on anything in the real world.
Most certainly, they have no effect on what person you’ll grow up to be. Caring too much about grades in high school and competing with your classmates doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get a great job as an adult, but it does reassure you’ll have a pretty miserable high school experience.
