Geographically Challenged
Sometimes even regular conversations can turn into awkward encounters, especially when the other person insists on standing by what they’re saying even when they’re wrong. This OP was making small talk with a customer in the store when he happened to tell her that he had recently visited Copenhagen on a holiday.
When she said that it was cool that he had been to Denmark, he seemed confused and insisted that both Copenhagen and Denmark are towns in Sweden. Um, no they aren’t. In fact, they are nowhere close to each other. How can someone who’s been to a particular place not even know basic details like this? It’s shocking!
