#35: Maverick’s Jacket from Top Gun
Tom Cruise, synonymous with iconic roles, played Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun, making the jacket an emblem of the film. A Prop Store auction saw a fan buying this patch-laden bomber jacket for a hefty sum.
Surprisingly, the jacket sold wasn’t the original one used in filming. The first jacket vanished before reshoots, prompting the creation of a new black leather and brown silk-lined jacket with a distinct patch layout, differing from Maverick’s original in the film.
