#5: Valley View Center (Texas)
Opened in 1973 as Dallas’s upscale destination, Valley View housed high-end anchors and glittering fountains. By the 2010s, it was mostly shuttered and repurposed for film shoots. Its empty atrium became a favorite backdrop for dystopian photoshoots before final demolition in 2019.
