Getting Engaged
Danny proposed to Lexi at sunset on Clearwater Beach, Florida. The setting couldn’t have been any more perfect. Lexi wrote on her Instagram pic, “He never saw me as my size, asked me to change, or made me feel as anything other than beautiful.” However, finding a wedding dress in her size would be daunting because at the time of his proposal she weighed 485 pounds.
Lexi admitted that there was nothing glamorous about shopping for a wedding dress with her figure. “Nobody knew how to make me feel like a bride, and not my size. Thank God I was strong enough to know my worth, and kept searching for my 34W dress even though I questioned if I would ever find one,” she added.
