Even if your local government doesn’t mandate helmets, you should always wear one. Zig-zagging through traffic with the wind blowing your hair sounds fun, but you know what isn’t? Cracking your skull on the pavement as you attempt to overtake car after car. This has happened on so many occasions that you’d think people would’ve learned by now.

Perhaps this picture will give you a good idea of why you should wear a helmet. Yeah, imagine if that see-through sheet of plastic wasn’t there to protect his face from scraping against the rough road. Always wear your helmet if you’re biking, people!
