Keep your jewelry on
Many employees are asked to remove their jewelry and electronics before their workday begins. In theory, this will ensure that the workers stay focused on their task and that they don’t lose expensive objects at the workplace. Turns out that his ring had taken up the brunt of the force and cracked under pressure. Better his carbide ring than his finger.
