For some people, the only way to get into college is by getting a scholarship. Sadly, if you can’t kick a ball a million feet away, or if you aren’t the next Einstein, then your chances of getting it are pretty slim. However, for one applicant, they realized there was a huge loophole that would ensure him a seat in the following semester’s intake.
In the 1960s, two neighboring districts were combined to become a larger one. However, the university was still offering scholarships to residents of one of the defunct districts. By applying as a resident of the nonexistent township, the student became the only applicant for the scholarship and got it.
