Uber > Ambulances
Here’s the thing about America. It’s one of the most powerful countries with one of the craziest health systems on the planet. If you’re not from there, did you know that you have to pay for an ambulance? We’re not just talking about tipping the driver (as is customary in some places). You have to pay for the ambulance services.
And these fees aren’t nothing to mess with. One person, who was probably ill, decided to call an Uber and pay $10 for a ride to the hospital. Thankfully, their condition wasn’t life-threatening. In the end, they saved a total of $2,990 on the ride to the ER.
