A race of steps
Education systems are also pretty serious about motivating students to be physically active. Even though not everyone can be LeBron James, it’s important that you maintain an active lifestyle for your health. One school implemented a rewards system for however many steps they walked. An app would record how many steps they took, earning them points that the students could spend on goodies at an on-campus shop.
However, the app was so poorly designed that one student figured out he could manually input their step count. Not wanting to raise suspicion, he claimed to have walked 50 kilometers daily. Since the loophole was never discovered, he told his friend who claimed to walk more than double his friend’s record!
