Milana’s First Major Role Was in ER
Milana began her acting career when she was just five, which is pretty much as soon as they arrived in the US. She appeared in a few Barbie doll ads initially to help the family’s financial situation. Although this wasn’t a huge deal, it did help bring in some extra income.
Her first major role on TV was on the American medical drama series, ER in 1995. Milana played the role of Tatiana an abandoned Russian girl who has AIDS. The role lasted three episodes and people began to take notice of the young and talented actress. This is when Milana fell in love with the craft as well.
