Milana Has Paid Back Everything From Her Time as a Refugee
Milana understands the harsh realities of being a refugee because she was one herself back in the day. When she first came to the US along with her family, they were helped financially by organizations like HIAS who even ensured that her parents got jobs.
Now that Milana has the power and money to make a difference, she has made helping refugees her passion project. She admits that not only has she paid every penny they were given when they first arrived but that she won’t stop doing more for those who need it.
