Best before, not best on
While shopping for dairy products, one of the first things we do is check for the expiration date. That’s probably what this person did, too, except they didn’t realize that. Instead, they vented their frustration at dairy companies and retail stores for shelving items that aren’t fresh enough to enjoy.
Obviously, this person is… whatchamacallit… mistaken. That date does not tell you when the best tie to chug your milk is. It denotes when you should toss it out. Rotten milk can be used for all kinds of things, but quenching your thirst is not one of them.
