Bob Marley
Bob Marley was known for his words of peace and love and easy-going times through his Rastafarian-inspired Reggae music. He was a symbol of world peace and tolerance and gained millions of fans the world over. During a time when racial integration in America was still rather new, Marley helped to unite worlds. In 1977, Marley was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Marley left the stage to put focus on his health and battle the disease. This photo was taken shortly after he lost his battle with cancer. Today, he is still considered a symbol of world peace and a music legend.
