If you’re a bit nervous about contacting your landlord to deal with a repair, it can be exciting when they follow through on your request. Feeling secure in your own home is an important part of living anywhere. You need to know that you can keep yourself, your family, and your belongings safe.
I feel like this landlord might have misinterpreted the request in this case, however. Sure, the tenant asked for a gated entry, and sure, there is a gate in the entry area. However, I’m not feeling that atmosphere of security, and I’m pretty sure that the tenant wasn’t either. What was wrong with putting the gate 3 feet back?
