When times are tough, it’s the little gestures that can often end up meaning the most. The person who pays forward a coffee at the local bistro, free parking from a local business, or even the server smiling at you at the end of a long day. Thoughtful offerings of kindness can mean the world.
This is not one of those thoughtful gestures. Giving your tenants a pre-paid envelope that they then need to send you money can not be filed under “nice things to do for people.” In all honesty, it would have been better for them to do nothing at all, because this just feels a little like a kick in the face.
