Not quite safe as houses
We’ve already seen one incredibly unsafe balcony during this article, and now we come to another. Usually, buildings with balconies come under city safety regulations. There are precautions that you have to take to make sure that your residents can safely use the space.
This landlord has apparently decided that these regulations don’t apply to him and that a narrow metal bar halfway up the balcony is sufficient. It’s pretty high up, though, and what happens if someone slips? I think I’d be asking for something a little more substantial if I was his tenant.
