Be more specific
As a tenant, sometimes you end up with a landlord who has both empathy and initiative. These unicorns understand what it must be like to live with particular housing issues, such as leaks or broken cupboards, and are happy to effectively and quickly fix those things that need fixing.
Some landlords, however, are not as on the ball. With these characters, you need to be very specific as to the problem you have and the fix that is needed, otherwise, you might end up with a botched job. Like this table, for example. The tenants had asked for a bigger table, and this is the solution their landlord offered.
