Swimming pool dreams
Having a pool accessible as part of your letting agreement is a pretty good perk. You don’t have to schlep to the public swimming baths, and you can pop out for a nice cool dip if the weather gets too hot. This would definitely help sway me toward renting a particular apartment.
It’s only a nice perk if the pool is actually fit for human habitation, however. Obviously cleaning a communal pool is the responsibility of the landlord, and this one has decided that it’s far too expensive to keep on top of pool maintenance. So now it’s just a rather large green pond.
