Banquette seating
For a while, it was terribly fashionable to design your kitchen to look like a local American Diner. Fitting soft, padded banquette seating in the corner of your room was the most popular thing you could do. Large monstrosities of leather or wipe-clean vinyl in various colors were everywhere.
The time has come for an upgrade. These seating units take up far too much room, are far too imposing and, like the leather sofas we began this article with, need updating with something sleeker, and more refined. Find a polished glass table and some slim chairs instead, and your kitchen diner will reflect a much more modern style.
