Everyone has heard of skipping stones before… While this activity can be done using any stone (as long as it is round and flat), kids in the ’80s grew accustomed to using a particular set of stones.

Plastic and multicolored, these skipping stones were a part of every kid’s toy repertoire in the 1980s. While these seem harmless, the very possibility of throwing a stone at another person’s face or body part became a growing concern, but in true ’80s fashion, kids never stopped playing with them.
