“You’re not very stable!” One parent’s son shot this incredible verbal burn back at them. Their five-year-old son was precariously balancing on a stool. Naturally, they noted that said stool wasn’t stable. This boy’s going places. The art of any insult is to just throw it back in the other person’s face.

Perhaps the little boy was in a sour mood, “hangry,” or ready for a nap. We’re very irritable when we’re tired. If you think about it, is anyone truly “stable”? Aren’t we all precariously balancing on a figurative stool? The stool of life? Okay, this is getting pretty deep. Maybe too deep.
