Really, this kid should’ve been impressed that his dad was in a hair metal band. What could be cooler than being in a band? And long hair really was in vogue back in the day. Add “hair metal” to that equation and you’ve got a coolness factor that’s in the stratosphere. Go, hair metal dad, go! We love a good hair metal band.
