Packaged crustless bread
Are you a crust-on or a crust-off kind of person? We personally don’t care either way, but sometimes, the through-and-through softness of crustless bread amplifies the taste of the sandwich. In Japan, you can get slices of bread without the crust at the supermarket.
Is it necessary? Not at all. A crusty loaf of bread is a lot cheaper, and it takes just seconds to remove the crust. Plus, you can use the scraps to make homemade croutons for salads. However, if you don’t have the time to prepare a crust-free sandwich, then your local 7-11 in Japan has your back.
