Everyone has a hidden talent. It’s always cool when a family member is really good at a hobby like painting, sculpting, or drawing. They may even get their art out into the world by selling or donating their work. A moment of artistic serendipity happened for this Facebook user when one of their friends was shopping at a Goodwill in their neighborhood.

Their friend called them up, saying that they had found a painting that looked an awful lot like a painting by the Facebook user’s mom. Turns out, it was her painting! The friend bought the painting and gave it to this poster, helping them reunite with a little piece of their mom. You never know when you’re going to stumble upon a thrift find that has a personal connection!
