Did you know? Winston Churchill had heart issues, to the point where the sudden change in pressure during a flight could increase his risk of a heart attack. One proposed solution was this “pressure egg.” The idea is that Churchill would lie in it, and the pressure would be stable throughout the flight.

It never took off, though, pun not intended. And no wonder. If you’re worried about your mortality and health, lying in this strange coffin contraption doesn’t sound like a good solution.
