Party Buddies
It usually is not so easy to get introverts to attend parties or other social events. It’s like removing someone from their natural habitat and putting them in a completely uncomfortable environment. Almost all introverts have experienced something like this; it’s moments like these that you wish you were home in your safe space.
Having to follow an extrovert all night is hard. That’s why introverts need a safety word when going out to parties – a code word to inform their friend they’ve had enough and they’re ready to leave. And what usually happens is that because these people know and talk to a lot of people, they are likely to get distracted at those events and wander off talking to people, leaving you to fend for yourself in the wilderness.
