For Hammocks
Artwork in public spaces comes in all shapes and sizes and is usually of the abstract kind. That’s probably why most of us wouldn’t even have noticed the tiny details in these rings but not the OP. They were surprised to see that the inside edge of each ring had 2 hooks on either side, so surely there was more to it?
Turns out they were right. Reddit users responded that these are hammock stands where people can hang their hammocks and simply chill, read, or sleep. Come to think of it, that’s a brilliant idea. What better way is there to enjoy your city’s public parks?
