Every place in the world has its own set of everyday problems. What’s great is that locals seem to come up with simple yet ingenious ways to deal with these problems. When this out-of-towner went to Southeast Pennsylvania, they spotted these yellow objects on a lot of telephone poles all over.
The only thing they could say for sure was that it was made of aluminum. So, what were they? Apparently, they are reflective grids being installed by PECO so that motorists can see and avoid crashing into telephone poles. Currently over half of PECO’s 400,000 poles have these installed on them. Well, safety first!
