Everyone has that one drawer or cabinet which houses all sorts of random, miscellaneous items. One fine day when you decide to finally sort it out, you may come across something strange that you had no idea you even possessed. What’s worse is that you don’t even know what it’s for.
That’s what happened to this OP who discovered a rather obscure-looking tool. Turns out it’s a pair of sugar nips. Back in the day when sugar wasn’t available in cube or granulated form, this is what people would use to cut sugar from a block. So that explains the pincers with the sharp blades.
