Inflation is something we’re going to have to live with until the end of time. The dollar you saved from ten years ago is worth less now than it was back then. This guy, who was in jail for 13 years, was taken aback by how much the prices of McFood had gone up.
For example, the price of a Big Mac was just around $2.39 when this guy’s dad first entered prison. By the time he got out, the average price of the same burger was $3.99. That’s about a 67% price hike after a mere decade and change in jail.
